Do I really need a car seat for air travel with a child?
He came to my attention that car seat or harness are not necessary for my toddler on the plane. I said he is "recommended" by the FAA. Airplane seatbelts are sufficient. I continue seats, annoying car in heavy aircraft. I do not want to spend $ 70 or more for CARES, or lighter, but still car seats bulky if I should not do. Can anyone verify this? My children are 3 and 5 years but less than 40 lbs. Thank you.
Well, I suppose if you're willing to have your kids bouncing around loose in the cabin, it would be OK. As long as you're not on flights with me.
